Stephen Brown and Carissa Ayerhart got the keys to Sandbar On The Beach in April 2014, making it truly a dream come true. It all happened extremely fast and reality hit that they only had 6 weeks to open up a restaurant.
They wanted to bring something new, fresh and different to Turkey Point and Norfolk County. The main goal was designing a new look and feel along with different menu options. They have introduced a place where people can come relax, enjoy great food, amazing drinks and soak up the beautiful Lake Erie view.
It's now been 9 years since they got the keys to the restaurant and they continue to update, grow and create a dining experience like no other while at the Sandbar. Keeping the menu and atmosphere fresh is something they truly take pride in. Another Important aspect to Stephen and Carissa is supporting local businesses and networking in Norfolk County. From carrying local craft beers, wines and produce is important to them and assists in supporting the community they have come to love.
